		<description>Kontantstøtten bidrar til at en del - som regel - kvinner unnlater å jobbe lønnet, eller jobber deltid i flere år. Pensjonsopptjeningssystemet er komplisert, men belønner heltidsarbeidende i ekstrem grad. Selv få år med deltidsarbeid kan redusere en ellers god pensjon til noe nokså dårlig. Kvinner som vedblir å være gift med en - som regel - rikere mann, lever på hans pensjon. Ved samlivsbrudd er minstepensjonen nær for mange. De færreste skilte kvinner i Norge ender opp med en bekvem &quot;Wisteria Lane-tilværelse&quot; med fett ektefellebidrag. 		<description>My problem with the Atkins-theory is that it works a bit too fast - and that means you are burning muscles before the fat, since fat burns slowly. You have to loose half a kg a week to not start burning muscle. And the heart is a muscle. So. I am sceptical. I&#039;m going to start dieting from January due to the same reasons as you, though. I&#039;ll follow a more low-fat, protein-rich, lots of veggies-way.</description>

I have been living low-carb for almost a year now, but just lately - with a little extra help from serenio&#039;s blog - been doing it more properly. At least I hope so. It is very hard for me to lose weight, I can notice a big difference from previous times when I tried different diets. The problem is probably due to insuline resitancy (?) which I was diagnosed with a few years ago. I have lost beween 8 and 10 kilos since January, it varies a bit, but at least I don&#039;t gain weight. AND I feel a lot better. The digestion, the stabilising of my blood sugar - all in all I feel much better on this diet than I&#039;ve felt on anything before. The healt part is important to me, but I hope I can lose some more weight as well. 

I don&#039;t really want to call it a diet, though, as I&#039;m planning to live like this forever. I don&#039;t really care much for bread or potatoes. I don&#039;t miss the beer. I love gin tonics and red wine.. and have that during weekends. I love the good stuff, so I&#039;ll be more than happy to eat like this in the future as well. :) Vegetables, cheese, chicken, eggs, almonds and nuts.. mmm!</description>
